Study confirms my theory that Intelers have lower IQ

Survey result is here. The study had a sample size of 5000 and found 69% of the people who use Intel powered computers had greater learning difficulties. George Ou immediately comes to mind as an example. The study found AMDers to be smarter.

My old analysis is here, it was based on my observation of the Intelers posting on this blog.

Based on the study, one can conclude that Intel engineers are also dumber than AMD engineers, because Intel engineers use Intel computers and AMDers use Opteron.

Darn it! I knew I had a low IQ. But I was not able to find a single reference to confirm it (probably a consequence of the low IQ). Thanks Sharikou for providing that.

Thankfully, I am not the only idiot in this world. Stephen Hawking uses Intel CPUs as well. So he must also be a retard.

Interesting for sure, however I’ve always made the same forgone conclusion but felt it was because there’re more Intel computers or a younger crowd has succumbed to Intel’s marketing.

Off subject; Tomorrow Stephen Hawkin lecture in Pasadena 8:00am Cal Tech (free admission but only first 400)

First it looked to be a joke, where are the reliable sources about it?

The more market share AMD will gain...ohoh...

Your erroneous and misleading headline would qualify you for work at Intel! They hire deceivers there, you should apply.

AMD did no such claims! That statement was taken from a quarterly report where they are obliged by law to disclaim and outline all risks.

We can find a bunch of shit like that on Intel's statement too.

AMD Video inferior to Intel.

The New AMD 680V Chipset doesn't support HDMI. Can't even do HD output.

The old Intel chipsets do HDMI, making them supperior to AMD.

Our humble host wrote:The study found AMDers to be smarter.

This is actually very bad news for AMD. Why?

1. More stupid people than smart people. The study implies that AMD's market share is upside-limited, and Intel's virtually unlimited.

2. You can't fix stupid. Sure, you can educate stupid people, but that doesn't make smarter- just more knowledgable. So marketing to stupid people won't help. No relief for AMD there.

3. Smart people tend to reproduce at lower rates than stupid people (in general). So Intel's potential market will grow at a more rapid rate than AMD's.

So remind me how this self-congratulatory "survey" is good for AMD?

Dr. Yield's otherwise sharp brain got impeded by his Intel CPU. Yes, therev are more stupid people that smart people and you can't fix stupid.... BUT, people want to appear to be smart...So once they know the study, they will switch to AMD so they don't get treated like idiots....

Otherwise you're the bigger idiot.

Opps is always April 1st at the Prtender PhD's blog.

? What happenend to the many articles about INTEL BK in 2007?

? What happehened to the predictions of 40% market Share in 2007

? Why aren't INTEL CPUs not catching fire anymore?

Its clear if you are smart this is pure entertainment on this site.
There is simply no claim Sharikie has every proven correct at, beginning with his false PhD.

Biggest load of crap I've read today. Intel's IGP is perfectly capable of running Aero - I have it on two laptops and a SFF desktop...not to mention it's been proven on several tech sites...and if you'd take the time to test things yourself instead of regurgitating the pretenders spew you'd know it yourself....

No, it's because AMD's crappy IGPs don't even support shader mode 3. AMD's crappy IGPs are far less advanced than those made by Intel or Nvidia.

AMD yaps about how it's crappy IGPs have better performance, but due to a lack of features they can't even run the latest games that require shader mode 3 support. It also means that AMD IGPs have inferior image quality in games that support but do not require shader mode 3.

if they're indeed less intelligent than their AMD counterpart, as you "concluded", I wonder where this come from?
Link

while Intel engineers are already working on 80 cores, 62watt, 1.01 teraflops, 5.7Ghz processor, AMD engineers are still tring hard to churn out their Barcelona, which is already delayed.

correction:
website:
http://www.pcworld.com/article/id,128924-c,intel/article.html

the 80 core processor can run 1.81 tereflops @ 5.7, while only consuming 62watts.

P.S. this article is dated Feb 11, 2007. So if anyone had already posted this, I apologize for the repeat.

This is where your logic falls apart. Stupid people cannot "KNOW" the "study" because they never learn and they never study.
This is unfortunate for AMD just as Dr. Yield pointed out.
This is the same sort of explanation why Windows is so popular compared to UNIX. And since AMD was so dumb enough to target smart people, in the future, it will go the same way as UNIX when LINUX (NVIDIA or VIA in this case) took over the smart crowd.

By then all the smart people that own the obsolete AMD system will feel really STUPID. Only the people that argue for AMD will feel DUMBER.

I'm sorry but this thread has no redeeming value. The volumes of both companies are too high to allow statistical niching to occur. We're talking something over 200 Million chips a year. The true statistics should show very little variation in consumers but possibly some in the much smaller corporate area.

BTW, Roborat. What is your opinion about the idea that gravity is a weaker force because it is mostly expressed in the 11th dimension? I have to say that I am personally not much of a fan of 11 dimensional String Theory. As far as I can tell it's just where we ended up after Unified, Grand Unified, Super Gravity, and multiple String variations.
