Poor pretender.. he wishes he could be famous and important like Bill, but he got nothing but his fake title and his blog..
Poor sharikou, all grown up and life past him buy with nothing to show...
According to my calculations upcoming upcoming FX line will be faster than Intel's QuadCore.
Because of NUMA architecture and two memory controllers the scalability should be almost linear when you switch from two cores to four.
Extrapolating FX-62 performance up to 2x3GHz should give 5-7% performance edge over 2.66GHz Intel CPU. It also means that X2 6000+ can be competitive to 2.4Ghz dual-core. Not bad when we still talk about old architecture 90nm vs 65nm new construction.
Its irrelevant arguing 65nm vs 90nm. Today AMD got no 65nm, got no quad core so by the time amd has 65nm quadcore in production INTEL will be on 45nm.
In the end it not matters what technology node or how many cores.. it matters what you can buy!
Today you can buy a quadcore from INTEL on 65nm. From AMD.. NOTHING.
GOt that.. is it hard to understand?
You want to compare? Compare AMD on 65nm to INTEL on 45nm. That is the right comparison.
